Fresh Morning Air

I think as I've grown older, mornings have grown to mean much more. Some days, I'm grateful for the newness of them, some days the calmness, some days the ability to forget the worries of yesterday and start fresh with a clean slate. No matter the reason though, I love the early morning hours and the promise that they hold. There are plenty of days when it's a struggle to get out of bed by 7am, but the days when I do I find are the best.

With the arrival of May also came the long-awaited warm weather here in New England, and I think it's safe to say it's here to stay. So mornings are now extra special to me. The sunshine is extra bright and these warmer mornings allow for a cup of coffee on the deck or a long walk before the busyness of the day begins. Saturday mornings may mean a visit to the farmers market, a walk to the coffee shop or a picnic breakfast. All these mornings have one thing in common, though. The fresh morning air.

In New England, even during the peak summer months, the early mornings have a crisp coolness about them. It's refreshing to be able to sit and take it in before the heavy heat of the day comes.

What does fresh morning air mean to you? Brooke and I would love to see your moodboards! If you create one at any time this month, leave a link below!
