Halloween Home Inspiration
With Halloween just around the corner, I've been searching for simple decor that can add some spooky character to our little apartment. When I say little, I'm not joking around. It's not teeny tiny Paris flat size, but I don't have room after room to decorate. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining one bit. I don't want to be cleaning all my life! It's the perfect size for us right now, and we love our little place. Even so, a girl's gotta get some decorating out of her system! When I was younger, my mom would go all out on the home decorating at holiday time, pulling boxes and boxes from the attic and basement. At Halloween time, there would be spider webs and big creepy crawler things laced around our house. Looking back now, I know without Amy and I she would have been plenty happy not lugging boxes all around the house and probably quite content with losing the haunted house feel for the entire month of October. But hey, my mom rocks.
Nevertheless, I've thrown together some fun items that can spook up a space in a little bit of a chic style. These items are unique in that they don't need to be put away at the end of the season. Everyone needs candles, rugs, coat racks, and snug swinging chairs through the winter months and beyond.
