As you've all probably heard by now, as of last Friday, we are officially homeowners. Phew. Can I get an amen? I've been keeping this whole a process a secret for a while now, ya know, in case announcing it to the world would somehow jinx the whole thing. But it didn't and here we are! I'm a homeowner at 24 years old. Yup, that's still sinking in.

There's so much more to tell you all about, and many more posts about this whole process to come in the future. But these few paragraphs and exterior photos (sorry, the interior still looks like a bomb went off, they will come eventually, promise!) are all I can fathom right now. My brain is dead. My back aches. My feet are sore and tired, just as they've been every night for the past week. (I'm not 80, I promise, although I feel like I am? And I'm not complaining. Really, truly, I'm not.) Moving is one thing friends, and I've done it many times, but moving into a house you own ... turns out that's actually completely different. There's just so much you want to do to make the place your very own. It's never-ending. And it's only been a week. But I really do love it all. The chaos of this little place Hobson, Zooey and I share is our very own messy world. It won't be that way forever, I keep telling myself. So I wouldn't change the here and now for the world. My feet may be in need of a major massage and my eyes may be craving a week's worth of sleep, but my heart is so very happy.

Thank you all for your sweet words! We're so excited to finally share this big news with you all. Here's to new beginnings and a good night's sleep. Right about now? Yes.
