Walking in a Winter Wonderland
My posts this week are going to be unusually short on words and a little more filled with photos, as it's a busy one for me, work-wise. Plus, I'm learning some new camera and photo editing skills and it's been fun for me to play around! Yesterday, Connecticut got our first fairly good snowfall of the year, with about four inches falling in my yard. When I woke up yesterday morning and Hobson told me there was snow on the ground and it was still falling pretty rapidly, I think I bounced all the way up to the ceiling with excitement. It was a joy to sit inside and watch the beauty taking place around me, cup of tea in hand all day long. I took a break from working to head out, shovel and snap some photos. Here's a few of my favorites. I adore the snow. If it's going to be cold out, I say there better be snow falling from the sky! Call me crazy, but I'm thrilled with the bitter cold temperatures Connecticut is supposed to see the rest of this week. It means the snow isn't going anywhere, at least for a little while.
