Today is the first day of spring, but there's two to five inches of snow in the forecast for Connecticut. I'm hoping winter will decide to calm down soon and allow spring to show its full colors. I don't know about you, but I'd rather not have snow on the ground come Easter Sunday!
I'm looking forward to the weekend. I'm planning on finishing painting our kitchen, picking up some thrifted chairs for our dining room table, skiing one last time for the season with friends, and continuing work on an exciting project I've started. Simple and good. What are your weekend plans?
I'll leave you with some links I've bookmarked throughout the week that inspired me. Many of them spring-related! After all, a girl can dream.
+ Why creatives don't succeed in traditional 9-to-5 work environments.
+ Do you have any idea where your home decor comes from? West Elm breaks it down, with a beautiful video, too!
+ This colorful urban townhouse in Melbourne, Australia is calling my name.
+ These earl grey chocolate chip cookies may have to be put on my baking list this weekend.
+ I am dreaming of summer evenings spent entertaining outdoors after reading about the Tiny Canal Cottage Cocktail Party.
+ Lastly, I added a few new items to the shop this week! Did you see them yet? And a reminder that today is the last day to take 10% off with code SPRINGCLEANING.
