A couple weeks back, four of us ladies decided we could no longer handle the seemingly endless, cold and dreary Connecticut weather. So we piled in the car on a Friday evening and made the drive to DC in search of some sunny skies and 70 degrees. Not only did we did we achieve that, we managed to hit the peak of the cherry blossoms, ride bikes all over the city, enjoy some sightseeing, do a little shopping in Georgetown and relish in a bottomless brunch that lasted a good portion of our Sunday, making the evening drive back home a long one (thank you, New York City traffic)..... but you put four girls in a car on a sunny day with the windows down and music loud and all seems right with the world. A little traffic couldn't dampen our spirits.
Thanks for having us, DC! We will be back.
