A New Chapter
Hello my darling friends. Thank you for popping by today and every day. I hope your Monday is off to a good start. It's a rainy one here, but a little rain never hurt anyone, right? And we all woke up this morning. I'd say that's a win.
To be honest, I'm not entirely sure just how to write this post. It's a tough one for me because it's the last I'll write under the blog name of Safaris and Sunsets. For the past few months, I've been working diligently at a new project of mine. The idea came to me over the summer, and it's taken since then to transform it from a dream to a reality. But the execution has happened, most of the logistics are in order (with the help of some very talented and supportive people), and we are set to launch tomorrow! I know I'm being very bland here, but if you check back tomorrow, you'll see just what I'm talking about. I promise. It's worth the wait!
I began Safaris and Sunsets in May of 2013, with no real direction or aim. I was in a time in my young life where I needed an outlet to write and create and figure out who I was and what direction I wanted my life to go. Well, this blog did just that. It introduced me to a side of myself I never knew was there. It documented the simple moments of my life, ones I never before knew how to appreciate. It brought me to this amazing community of genuinely wonderful and supportive people that I never knew existed, a community of dreamers, makers and creators who are passionately chasing the life they want to live, dictated by no one but themselves. You guys are the ones who are changing the world and defining our generation, and I feel so lucky to be a part of it all.
So, where shall you head tomorrow? Come here, to Safaris and Sunsets, like you graciously have been for the past year and a half. You will be redirected to our brand new site with a fresh direction and purpose. I can't wait for you all to see what I've been up to. And lucky for me, the content I've been posting on here since May of 2013, all 241 posts, will still be there for me to look back on years down the road. Just under a different name.
A quick thank you to all my readers, whether you've been here since the beginning or just last month. You guys are truly amazing. And thank you to this little space of mine, for being a platform for me to learn, grow and change throughout the past 18 months. Onto a new chapter...
