Between Lenses / Fresh
Hello there! I hope you're having a wonderful week thus far! Yesterday, Tara and Latrina shared the theme this month for the Between Lenses Photography Challenge that I've enjoyed so much taking part in. You can see the previous installments in this series here and here. For this month, the theme is "fresh." After the beautiful and finally somewhat warm weekend we just had, I was totally feeling fresh when I woke up Monday morning and read through both these lovely ladies' posts.
Saturday, with the temperatures in the 50s, felt like a whole new world. I made Hobson drive around and make random stops just because it was so darn gorgeous out, and I didn't want to go home. I felt like a little kid skipping through parking lots, without a coat, hat and mittens, for the first time in months! It was wonderful. Just freakin' wonderful. Everything and everyone just felt so alive, reborn and fresh.
So naturally, I couldn't help scooping up these gorgeous cottage roses and scattering them throughout the apartment. The temperatures have since dropped again, but these beauties keep reminding me that spring is right around the corner. I can just feel it, guys. It's coming.
In true Sarah fashion, I couldn't choose just one photo, so I decided to break a few rules of this challenge and share a bunch. If you like what you see, a couple of these are up for sale as prints of various sizes in my photography shop. Lovely spring prints or maybe a Mother's Day gift?
Have a beautiful day!
