Let It Be

Over the weekend, we celebrated 40 years of marriage between Hobson's parents with a beautiful surprise party. Other than that, it was a quiet few days, and I soaked it all in. It was one of those times when I knew I could (maybe even should) be spending my minutes attacking the piles of work waiting for me, yet I was perfectly content with leaving what I could until Monday morning. It was a good weekend to just let it all be. Kick up the feet, laugh with loved ones, celebrate and just leave the busy work until later. Let the moments go, soak in some sunshine, and enjoy this life because it surely is a good one.

I lettered a variation of the above last night after the celebrations were over, and it is now up for sale in my shop. It felt like an appropriate few words as the weekend drew to a close. Also, a quick reminder that today is the last day to enter the giveaway, so I hope you'll pop over and check it out. A huge thank you to all of you for your support and kind words over the past few weeks. Every single day, I'm more blown away by the wonderful people of this community. You guys are the best and I'm so grateful that Safaris and Sunsets has led me to this mighty fine group of individuals and small businesses alike. It's been wonderful.
