my shop launch and a giveaway!
Lately, I've fallen in love with the process of creating my own paper goods. I'm not sure when the idea first popped into my head that I could make my own cards and such, but I think it was rooted in the desire for a product to look exactly how I envisioned in my head and say just what I was feeling in my heart. I used to spend far too many minutes standing in Hallmark, browsing for that just perfect card. So I began making my own.
I love the process, and in this very connected world of today, I thought why not share some of my creations with people near and far. So that's what this is all about. Right now the shop is small, with four products available as prints or stationary cards. I have plans to expand to include many more prints and stationary and eventually go completely separate from my photography shop. You can also expect to see wedding invitation suites coming as well. But I said to myself the other day, if I keep waiting until I have a good amount of inventory to choose from, some of my work may never see the light of day. (Kind of goes along with the notion of quality versus quantity that I chatted about last week). So instead of hiding them away in a folder, a few of my recently designed goodies are up for sale in the shop!
To celebrate this sweet little launch, I have two wonderful ladies supporting me. Emily of A Lively Blend and Andrea of Hedgerow General have graciously offered up some of their beautiful products to give away to one lucky reader! I have to thank these two so much for their friendship and kind words throughout the process. It means the world!
Giveaway Details: One reader will win all these wonderful prizes: a set of three Field Note Notepads, two Palomino Blackwing Pearl Pencils, the Maemi necklace and a set of three stationary cards from Safaris and Sunsets shop. There are many entry options. Of course, the more you enter, the better your chances of winning! The giveaway will run until May 19th at 11:59pm EST. On May 20th, I will randomly select one lucky winner and contact them. Unfortunately, this giveaway is only open to US readers.
Good luck, my friends, and thank you for supporting me in this endeavor!
