Weekly Wishes No. 2
With the holidays just around the corner, it is the perfect time to look back at photographs like the one above and cherish the memories with the people we love most. This photo is of my sister, cousins and myself outside my grandparent's old schoolhouse in New Hampshire. Holidays spent here are some of the most vivid in my mind. Lately, I find myself holding on tighter and tighter to memories like this.
Do you find yourselves drifting back in time around this time of year? I think that may be a goal for me for the remainder this season - to flip through old photos as often as I can, grasp onto those memories and smile.
As for the goals for the week... here we go. Let's first check in and see how I did on last week's goals.
(one) get rid of old clothes. I was half successful with this. I did a major cleaning of my closet at my parent's house, but my closet here at home was a bit neglected.
(two) put in at least two good writing sessions for our book. NOPE... didn't happen at all.
(three) grow Hobson's Men Cook Too Kickstarter campaign. This did happen, and we have you guys to thank for that! Let's keep the support going, friends!
Now it's time for this week's wishes. They're going to look a little familiar. Just a warning.
(one) let's finish up on that closet of mine, shall we?
(two) put in two awesome writing sessions! seriously, I need to get my butt in gear with this book.
(three) hit the gym. last week, I started doing yoga again (yay!) and joined a gym with my mom. Very excited to take advantage of the motivating classes and other perks (can you say sauna?!)
I hope you all have beautiful weeks and feel accomplished at the end of each day, whether your goals are to simply kick up your feet or to do a single load of laundry. Remember, it's up to you to make the most of your days.
